I’m Martin Schellert, an Agile Transformation Consultant and coach.
I work with organisations that have outgrown their ways of working, where growth has created more coordination than ownership, and “agile” has started to feel like a calendar rather than a capability. I redesign how teams are structured, how decisions get made and how work flows, so that delivery improves because people can focus on what they’re good at.
THINK AGILE.
WORK SMART.
WHY MY CLIENTS CALL ME
Work has stopped going as smoothly as it used to. Things have started to feel stale and repetitive. The spark that used to make teams great has started to fade. Teams are busy, but outcomes are underwhelming. Decisions are made by people who are too far from the work realities of the teams. Dependencies grow and start to spiral out of control, faster than teams can keep up. The transformation has changed the way things are named but kept the old politics. Effective, agile teams and systems have quietly and gradually turned into slow, paralysed bureaucratic machines.
None of that means anyone failed. It means the organisation changed and the way of working didn’t. That’s something that can be fixed. And together with my clients, that’s exactly what I do.
WHAT I DO
Transformation & organisational design
Operating models, team structures, decision flow, governance and scaling. Designed around and for your workflows. Not the latest trendy framework or diagram.
Delivery & product clarity
Flow, dependencies, prioritisation, product ownership and goals. So the work moves, and everyone can say why it matters.
Coaching & capability
Coaching for leaders, Product Owners, Scrum Masters and teams. Enabling them to make informed judgement, develop expert facilitation skills, and demonstrate confidence.
Speaking, workshops
& training
Talks and sessions that turn complex ideas into things people can use on a Monday morning.
HOW I WORK
I start with the system you currently find yourself in: the people, the pressure, the decisions, the handoffs, and the things everybody knows about but feels like they are not empowered to say out loud. Then we design changes the organisation is able to absorb, creating work practices that the people in the organisation get behind, meaning that they will stick for long after I’ve left.
I’m neurodivergent, and I credit that lens with much of what I’m best at: seeing patterns in messy systems, noticing what goes unsaid in a room, and refusing to accept “that’s just how it works here”. Psychological safety and inclusion are embedded into everything I do. Teams that can tell each other the truth are the only teams that ever get faster.
